“Two Fast” Birthday Party

I can’t believe my “baby” is TWO! It seems like just yesterday he was 4 weeks old and we were moving into the ol’ MontgoFarmhouse. Where does the time go?

Smith has such a fun little spunky personality so I wanted an birthday party theme that really was “him.” We joke that he has one speed and it’s FAST. He’s always running around trying to keep up with big brother so his natural pace is a sprint. I started searching around on Pinterest and found these super cute vintage race car decorations from Merrilulu and the “Two Fast” party was a done deal!

Merrilulu has the cutest party themes. They are unique and definitely out of the box! Everything matches perfectly so they take the hard work of party planning off your shoulders. The invitations, water bottle labels, and cupcake sleeves were all easy downloads so we could print as many as we needed.

So many adorable details like these party bag stickers come with their kits! They are seriously your one spot shop for all the paper goods for your next party!

Once I picked out the theme, I knew I had to get a custom wooden wall sign from a shop that has been a favorite of mine on Instagram for awhile! Whimsy Timber is a Georgia based small bizz that started when an expecting Mama couldn’t find the finishing touch to her soon to be babe’s nursery. So with the help of her husband, they created a special wooden sign and quickly realized there was a need for this type of personalization in the home decor market.

They now have a 2,500 square foot warehouse and make beautiful pieces like this “Two Fast” wall sign and cake topper to add the “sprinkle on top” to spaces!

The next thing I had to have was a gigantic balloon arch for the 14 foot wall to anchor the party set up! I enlisted the help of my friend Anna (@annatough) and her new business Gather and Pop! Anna has been creating the cutest parties for her boys for years now. It was only a matter of time that she started to share he balloon art creations with the world!

If you’re lucky enough to live close to the Gather and Pop gals, they will hand deliver your custom balloon creation. And of course after years of trial and error, Anna sends lots of helpful tricks and tips to make your balloon garland look fabulous!

I’m so blessed to have a crazy talented sister in law who can create the most beautiful cakes! She has made us a minion cake and a monster truck one for my oldest son and this checkered flag one was just as amazing! I got the cupcakes from the local grocery store and wrapped them with the Merrilulu liners!

With so many fun and vibrant colors going on, I wanted to keep the birthday boy’s outfit simple. I recently fell in love with a local company, Linen Michael, who makes the sweetest little outfits. This simple white piece was just what I had in mind!
